With her joyful neo-soul vibe and jazz undertones, this Bajan singer most recalls Erykah Badu and Jill Scott. Working again with Markham producer Eddie Bullen, Lindsay's sophomore disc is comprised of grooving ruminations on love, such as "Trippin' Without Your Love" and "Upswing" – "Catch me on the upswing, baby/'Cause I can't show no love when I'm down low." Backed by a six-piece band, she'll perform the new songs at tonight's CD release at Revival.

It’s CHUM FM’s Breakfast in Barbados Kick-off Party Thursday, January 15th at The Courthouse! (57 Adelaide St E). We’re giving away TWO- all-inclusive trips for two to Barbados with Roger, Darren & Marilyn, staying at the beautiful Almond Beach Village Resort!
The bash features performances by two Bajan artists, Marisa Lindsay and Arturo Tappin. You’ll receive a complimentary glass of Rum punch, plus the Courthouse DJ will be spinning Today’s Best Music.
